Question #2:

What age do you feel teens today should start dating?

1.      17; because I did!

2.      Double dating 16, and single dating around 18. Because you see life in a totally different light around the age of 18 when you are stepping into a new section of life.

3.      15 – dating is a way of life for young people and I think that isn’t a good age to start. They know better if they were raised right and they won't do a lot of things that are bad in the life to come as long as they have some one there to help them along the way.

4.      Single dating-16.  But of course, most teens date before then.  I don't believe teens are mature enough to handle the responsibilities that go along with single dating prior to sixteen.  I believe that a teen should be involved with things other than dating.  This will allow them to develop their inner selves, mature in their relationship with God, and give them a chance to have fun being a kid before they deal with the pressure that come along with single dating.

5.      After graduating high school. Because young people tend to make irrational decisions that in this regard, that could yield lifelong consequences and results.

6.      The rule in my house was before 16 in a group, and after 16 alone

7.      I think the innocent camp dating for 13 and up is ok, as long as it stays innocent.  I feel that you should date at least a few people before you start thinking about marriage so you have the experience and never have to wonder “What if?”.  I honestly don't think we are mature enough to date seriously until we are 17 or 18

8.      I don't think it matters.

9.      When they know what they want.

10.  I have recently decided that "dating" is not really something that you should do until you are ready to get married. Age? That is so hard to determine because there are mature 12-year-olds and immature 22 year-olds. I think that dating is a step towards marriage and that until you are ready to commit long term, don't do it.

11.  Dating one on one is serious and should be done at around 19 or 20 when you are seriously looking for a mate, until then, go with the flow, fellowship, and have fun.

12.  They should start being interested in the opposite sex as early in life as their interests allow them to.  The parents should greatly be involved in their interests and be over their shoulder early on, teaching them the dos and don’ts.  Then they can be given more freedom as they age and mature.

13.  16, because by then you realize what real love is and what infatuation is...at least some of us.
