Abortion
By James Crawford
July 21, 2003

I’m tired of murdering children-
The unborn are not asked if they want to live.
This goes beyond morals, right or wrong, and sin.
America is dying one aborted fetus at a time.
Perhaps America is already dead and rigor mortis has set in.

The silent throat of those so ashamedly silent
That should be screaming for those who cannot cry out;
The babies that are extinct.
Complacency and apathy, the twin IV bags, slowly drip their poison into our veins,
as the Earth swallows up the innocent, the meek.
The sucking sound of death.
The babies trod under feet.

A baby in a dumpster not a person some say.
Trash, the refuse fetus among the newsprint and potato peels.
Since you cannot cry out, I will cry.
You had a future no sword of Solomon could divide
You were murdered as part of our legal genocide.

I’m so tired of murdering children
So tired,
But sleep won’t come tonight.
