Storm of Confusion
On his lonely
voyage,
Drifting through a dark life
Journeys of past and present
Filled with discord and strife
Looking toward the trials ahead,
Images flash in and out of sight
Feeling dismay in the storm
Only to be guided by the light
A whisper can be heard
Over the raging waves,
Saying, "Seek ye the Lord,
Or be trapped as Sin's Slaves"
Hope enters the hearts
Of those that do believe
For the whisper says once more,
"Seek and ye shall receive"
With repentance in his mind
And hope in his heart
The winds eventually die down
And the waves begin to part
Given life eternal
And blessed with the Holy Ghost
He comes to the realization
That it was God who loved him most
Jesus, A Provider Worth
Praising
Thank you Lord
For waking me
For the breath in my lungs
For the sun in the sky
Thank you Lord
For ordering my steps
For lighting my path
And keeping me safe
Thank you Lord
For deliverance from sin
For a second chance
For the knowledge of Truth
Thank you Lord
For watching over me
For not letting go
Even though I turned away
Thank you Lord
For the trials I go through
For the prosperity
And for the pain
Thank you Lord
For Your Mercy
For Your undying Grace
And for Your eternal Love
Thank you Lord
For the cross You bared
For the blood spilt at Calvary
For Salvation You gave me
Thank you Lord
For every blessing
For every miracle
For every touch I receive
Thank you Lord
For being my Father
For being my Savior
For being my God
Thank you Lord
For being my Provider
For loving me for me
For a chance to give You Praise
His Name
His name shakes
the hardened soul
Erasing the remorse from a dark past
Placing a burning desire
In all those who search for truth
There is victory in His name
Giving hope to the weary heart
Providing strength, instilling courage
Dismissing the darkness that surrounds
His name echoes of Grace
The forgiveness of a sinful past
The vision of a wondrous future
His mercy is proven time and time again
His name brings salvation
And the cleansing of a soul
By the pouring out of His spirit
All who seek will be redeemed
Joy is found in His name
Creating a world filled with compassion
Ending the search for peace
Finding eternal satisfaction
His name is the Savior
The Messiah, the Redeemer
The one who died upon a cross
For the sins of the world
