Print By Carol Clemans If you asked Him the question, “What is ‘Christian’ sex?” God’s answer would be, “I designed a perfect plan for a husband and wife within the boundaries of marriage. I gave Adam and Eve the gift of sex within a permanent relationship. I designed one man and one woman to be united for life. My way is for your provision, protection and joy.” That doesn’t seem to be the case today judging by the content about what is happening sexually today with the youth in Christianity on “Focus on the Family” (March 30, 2006 and April 26, 2006 programs). Many years ago, a young church teen sat in my counseling office after almost dying because of an abortion. I was challenging her to sexual purity. I asked, “Will you have sex again (before marriage) after what has happened to you?” Her answer was, “Yes, there is more than one way to have sex.” Christians are being influenced by the world. They are saying, “If we don’t ‘go all the way’ then it is not having sex.” Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Anything you do in sharing the private parts of your body with another person is having sex. It is called foreplay. It is a natural reaction when a male and female start sharing their bodies. Our youth are being deceived by the devil. Young people are now getting oral sexually transmitted diseases because they are having their version of ‘Christian’ sex. I haven’t even touched on the spiritual and emotional pain of this sin. As the wise man wrote, “Equally amazing is how an adulterous woman (or sexually active people outside of marriage) can satisfy her sexual appetite, shrug her shoulders, and then say, ‘What’s wrong with that?’ ” (Proverbs 30: 20, NLT) I’m not a prude. I’m just a believer in God’s truth. Fornication and adultery are still sin. Jesus said if you look and lust it is a sin. So if you are looking and feeling with your hands and mouth, it is lust in action.
