Answer: “Missions, plus I buy things for the youth all the time out of my
own pocket.”
The
Answer: “My husband and I set aside a sum of money and put it in a
separate bank account. We support most of the UPCI programs, but the better part
of these funds are given to individuals who spend of their own funds to better
God's kingdom, people such as a lady who checks every Saturday on her bus kids,
a single lady who travels across the state ‘filling in’ pulpits of small
churches, etc. Some of these people use proportionately more of their personal
funds than most of us and do it unselfishly, so we add to their gas money or pay
for extra activities for the children's ministry, unreimbursed by church funds.
It feels good.”
The
Answer: “I give regularly to Mother's Memorial, singles, youth, Spirit of
Freedom, Sunday school, general offering, home mission churches.”

The
Answer: “Why does other giving have to be excluded from being considered
tithes (i.e. aid, missions, personal giving, donations, Christian charity,
etc.)?
The
Answer: “Building fund, missions and miscellaneous offerings. Plus I give
of my time to the church in various volunteer capacities.”
