The Question: I’m glad I grew up Pentecostal because…

The Answer: “Youth camp!”

The Answer: “I'm glad I didn’t grow up Pentecostal because I think I appreciate it more than what I've seen in others that have; that's a sad statement to make but I think it's kinda true. I wouldn't trade this jewel called Pentecost for all the money in the world. Thank you Jesus Christ for Your beautiful Word and TruthGrace and Love!” and most of all, Your

The Answer: “It's important to realize that there is something out there bigger than any of us. By being Pentecostal, we have access to the fruit, wisdom, and gifts of the Spirit. Life with the Spirit is a more abundant life.”

The Answer: “Who grew up?”

The Answer: “I am no longer Pentecostal; however, I'm so thankful for my Pentecostal heritage for many reasons. The first is that I was endowed with an awesome understanding of the necessity of holiness. The dress standards helped me understand the beauty of modesty and close-knit community helped me appreciate the value of the church. The values and morals expressed by my church saw to it that I was raised in a divorce-free and drug/alcohol-free home. When I grew up, I left the Apostolic movement for greater truth, but I will always continue to be thankful for the way I was raised and the truths I was taught in my Pentecostal church.”

The Answer: “Everyone is jealous of my hair!”

The Answer: “I can testify that you still have to make a decision to follow Jesus even when you have grown up in the church.”

The Answer: “I didn't have television and I read books non-stop. My imagination and creativity flourished.”

The Answer: “Actually I didn't and that makes me glad, because it makes me appreciate more what I have now then wishing for things I know are wrong, but I still want to try. I already have and know it’s not worth it.”

The Answer: “Bible Quizzing and its many mental, social, and spiritual benefits.”
