ApTube 2007 Contest—Make a Video for Money!

So are there creative Pentecostals in the visual arts? We’re about to find out.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

We’re proud to announce ninetyandnine.com’s ApTube 2007. The contest details are below, but basically we’d like to challenge you to create a 1-5 minute video that can be uploaded to ninetyandnine for real prize money. It would be our exclusive for one month (hey, we’re the ones forking over the money), then it’s yours to upload to YouTube or wherever else on the net.

Before we give away our hard-earned money (you are using our Amazon link when purchasing there, correct?) we must receive a minimum of 15 entries from 15 completely unique sources (i.e. you cannot submit one for yourself, one with your youth group, one with your buddies at Bible college and it count as three. If you’re involved in three videos, then it counts as one source). However, you are welcome to submit up to three videos of your own for the prize money.

If there’s a great response we’ll do it again next year (and maybe sooner).

Amaze and Thrill Us

It’s up to you on content. All we ask is that it’s morally clean and could be equally enjoyed by believers and non-believers.

Frankly, we’d love to become a congregation point for Apostolic creativity before it’s disseminated to web sites and churches around the world.

Will It Work?

We hope so. You have until September 30, 2007 (7 weeks) to video your idea and show it to the world. Who knows where God will take it from there?

Prizes

· 1^st Place: $100

Technical Details

· Video length: 1-5 mins (no exceptions)

· It cannot have appeared on the web anywhere else.

· Deadline: September 30, 2007

· 90&9 must have a minimum of 15 entries from 15 completely unique sources (i.e. you cannot submit one for yourself, with your youth group, with your buddies at Bible college and it count as three. If you’re involved in 3, then it counts as one source for money to be awarded.

Content

· Something that many people (believers and unbelievers) might watch and enjoy. You’re welcome to include a message or moral, but it’s not obligatory. (Even the hint of a message--not heavy-handed please--will score more points though.)

· No copyrighted material can be included (unless for satirical purposes). (This prevents lawsuits.)

· Must be morally clean.

· Content must have a point. We’re not looking for material that embarrasses innocent people.

· We prefer it’s in English; if it’s not it’d better be hilarious or our judges are likely to be confused enough not to score if very well.

Also Include . . .

· Title of your video

· Short bio of the team that created it, with their names with contact information for your primary contact.

· Your home church & pastor.
