The Question: An unrecognized hero in my church is _____ because ______.

The Answer: “Sis Teresa and Sis Pattie. They clean the church two times a week every week. Everything always looks great! Bro Ronnie. He has mowed and trimmed the churchyard for years. It always looks wonderful! The finances of the church are not completely in order when people that do such a huge work are not paid.”

The Answer: “This may sound ridiculous, but there is a nine-year-old little girl in our church who has seen a lot in her lifetime. Her family left the church and her parents divorced. Her family got back in church and her parents each married new people. But this little girl started seeking the Holy Ghost at about age five and has been sold out to God ever since. She is always in the altar, willing to be used in whatever way she can be used. She is a giver, a lover and a fighter. I am so inspired by her worship because she reminds me of me when I was her age. I have since lost some of that passion and burden I had, but when I think about this child's sincerity...It pushes me to strive for ministerial greatness.”

The Answer: “Rev. Jimmy Dotson--because he spent 30 something years in Peru and Chile as missionaries (he and his wife, Billy). They sacrificed so much to go over there and spread the Gospel to lost souls and I feel that people don't realize how special these two are for what they did.”

The Answer: “An unrecognized hero in my church is Sis.Newman! Because she always has a smile on and she is such an inspiration to everyone around her! She is a great mom, person, and servant of the Lord! We are so glad that she is a part of our church! We love and appreciate her so much!”

The Answer: “Sister Debbie--because she is the first to respond to the needs of those who are grieving or facing difficulties in some part of their lives. She doesn't just say, “What can I do?” She just does!

The Answer: “Tamra Schultz--she is the epitome of selfless ministry. Anyone who knows her--who really knows her--is aware of her love for souls, her dedication, and her selflessness. She does so much without any desire for recognition or accolades from others…I am so glad she has chosen to minister in our church…there are so many who are blessed by her ministry.”
