Two words for Wednesday: Horatio Hornblower
Now I'm reading this first novel of maritime adventure featuring the honest and wet behind the ears midshipman, Horatio Hornblower. The novels were made into a series of films and I have watched them all. It's a great read, and a great flick. Check it out today at amazon, and soon you'll be dashing to the side rail of your pressure-treated suburban deck to yak up breakfast since C.S. Forrester writes that good. Or else you'll be scuttlin' for hardtack and a daily ration of grog for you and yer mateys. Pirates included.

Christian website of the week
I choose for the website of the week: The Journey Church of Anchorage! The message is unintimidating...inviting...friendly...without trumpeting the grand announcement of truth or consequences. If I didn't go to church anywhere, then this would be my first start rather than my last resort. The site sort of throws a monkeywrench into the traditional cog of the well-oiled machine known as "outreach." More about stuscoring® in a blog-to-come.

Time to hit the lights.
And with that, i bid you...adieu. (see photo below)
