I have never understood this extremely odd photo.... perhaps my IQ is not what it should be?? I just don't get it....
The pic of the guy with an apple in front of his face is from a painting by Rene Magritte called "Son of Man." It's supposedly a self portrait, but as you can see, he hides his face.
IQ stand for "Identity Quotient" (rather than "intelligence quotient") and the idea is kind of like, "Who are you in Christ? Who are you in relation to the culture around you?" and other such questions concerned with living a Christ-centered life in a post-modern world.
But, back to the picture, it presents a challenge to us to figure out what OUR faces are behind the apple.
