St. Louis, Missouri Named Most Dangerous City in the U.S.
That's right, the city of the Arch and the Mississippi River has been named the most dangerous city to live in. Hopefully, it didn't hinder participation in the 2006 I.Q. Forum hosted by ninetyandnine.net. However, this headline, which is not something I made up, is much more tasteful than the one about the guy tatooing his dead niece's name onto the forehead of the killer he met in jail. Still, I may think twice about visiting a city ranked NUMBER 1 on the list of America's MOST DANGEROUS CITIES.

what? dangerous? I had a small taste of that dangerous threat one time when I went to 13th & Gravois during my Gateway time, and I thought I would jaunt across the street to fill up on (ahem) $.69/gallon gas, and a very cautious couple followed me across the street in their vehicle to make sure I was okay filling my gas tank. Wish I could remember who they were! :)
