Minnesota Named Healthiest State
For whatever reasons Minnesota was rated "healthiest state," those who voted were wise enough to conclude that Vermont was Number 2. Um, I mean that Vermont was voted second healthiest state, uh, that is. The reason for Vermont being healthy is almost singly related to the statistic that Ben & Jerry's ice cream is produced there.
In fact, after I toured the Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory, had free samples and the "complimentary priced" $4.00 one-scoop cone, I felt healthier than ever. However, the wife and I figured we'd have to do a second mortgage on the house or else auction off one of the children had we decided to continue eating Ben & Jerry's at $3.72 per ounce.
But I do believe a visit to Vermont will make one healthier because my good friend "The V" climbs mountains for fun and rides his bike up mountains for exercise. Me, I ride around in a gas-powered golf cart for aerobic jaunts. Which is another reason I prefer Georgia.
Next year, I plan to visit the city voted "Most Dangerous City in the U.S." namely, St. Louis, which was either not in the top 25 states voted most healthiest or else I fell asleep while reading the article. Though it must remain difficult to stay healthy while running from muggers and hardened criminals walking the streets of St Louis, or, known in mafia circles as Saint Louie.
