Everyday Miracle Part I
Today at church I heard two awesome stories of God's favor being on His children's lives. The first story was the head of our pantry ministry that gives food and clothes to the needy had a need in her own life. She's an elderly woman who's bathroom floor was basically rotting away. She prayed and told God that she didn't know how she was going to get it fixed since she has no one to help her with such things and not enough money to pay someone else to do it.
Well, amazingly, a business man in our church came up to her a few weeks ago and told her, "God has laid it on my heart to bless you and to ask you if you have need of anything." Her pride swelled and she told the man she didn't need anything. After the exchange she began to feel so guilty, knowing that she did indeed have need of something, and something very specific that she had prayed about. She called our pastor and told him the situation and he told her to get over her pride, call the businessman, apologize to him, and tell him what she needed.
She did so and now she has a brand new bathroom floor! Isn't God amazing?!
I have another story of God's miracle-working power, but I'll have to post it later because my husband and daughter are waiting on me to leave. Stay tuned for Part II!
