Everyday Miracles Part II

The other great story I heard Sunday was from a friend of mine, Faith Cook. Faith had some sort of skin irritation on her finger and tried treating it herself for several weeks with different over-the-counter stuff, all to no avail. Finally she went to the dermatologist to get it checked out. He took a look at it and said, "Looks like excema, here's a prescription for a steroid cream. Use it for a week, then come back and let me take a look at it."

She did what he said, came back in a week, and when he came into the room, he looked at her chart and said, "Mrs. Cook, I see you're here to get a full body check today." She was puzzled and she held up her finger and said, "No, I'm here for a finger check." He said, "No, I have you down for a full body check." She started to argue with him when she felt a check in her spirit and felt the Lord telling her to go ahead and get checked.

In the full body check, the doctor found three places he didn't like and wanted to biopsy each of them. On this past Tuesday, he called her and said one of the places from the back of her thigh (which she hadn't even known was there) was melanoma, but it was in the extremely early stages, was still very superficial on the skin and was nothing to worry about. After another procedure to cut some more tissue out, she would be cancer-free!

Isn't that amazing?! And even more cool is that after this happened, her finger cleared up completely, and she had already quit using the cream because it wasn't doing any good. God used that just to get her to the doctor so he could find the cancer before it got too bad. Our God still works miracles!!!
