Jeremy or JK1?

Okay…..I’m here in Columbus now, and for some strange reason, I feel the urge to change my persona. You might think I’m weird, but that’s okay, so do I. But hear me out: Do you ever feel like certain environments and atmospheres demand a certain personality? You see, back home I am dull and boring, and I’m realizing today that that’s just not going to work out for me this week. Here at the NAYC the atmosphere is hip, it’s electric, it’s cool – too cool just to be my normal me. So, I decided, I guess as a mental strategy, that from here on – until I return home to Cleveland – I must change my persona – and with this change, so changes my identity – I no longer can be just Jeremy, or else I’m stuck being dull and boring. I now am JK1.

Yeah, it’s corny. :) That’s why I do it.

JK1 is my alias. It’s my cooler side. It’s what gets me out of my laid back, locked up shell and into a high-spirited, more spontaneous disposition. It reminds me that the man inside of me is crazy…..and that life is so short……so, as for me and this blogging gig, expect the mundane no more, I want you to experience the craziest, most extreme blogging you’ve ever read. No mind-numbing comments on blasé experiences. This is Youth Congress 2005!

Therefore, I commit to you, the Blogazoid, to write with enthusiasm; to be specific and to the point; to be painstakingly honest, and above all to bring to you, along with my fellow bloggers – LIVE from C-bus – the good, the bad, the ups, the downs, the ins, the outs, the hots, and the nots, of the 2005 NAYC!
