One day Down
SarahK here in the room!!! Despite immediate technical problems, I'm here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well day one down, more great things to come!! As usual, the closer you got, the more skirts (and J-low white sunglasses) appeared. And then we were here, shout out from the Drury (the roommates made me put that). Where we actually can sign on and blog (sorry about your luck, Eric).
Well, we made the short traverse over to the Nationwide, and it was somewhat reminiscient of the Atlanta Congress. The arena had a similar set up. We were dealing with escalators again, you can go up, but you can't go down. They waited until after service to make that magic happen. Seriously, I don't get that!! But, my 7:30 arrival left me sitting up in the far corner of no man's land. Well the good part about being up in the nosebleeds is that the sound was... well, you could kinda hear. Rumor has it, from the bottom, you might as well have been in the lobby. Which, I might add, was really low this year. Where's my lobby crew at?? True though, packed out arena and hardly any stragglers. They tell me the restaurants started to fill closer to the end of the message. Apparently that Alaskan kept their attention.
If you're looking for packed out eateries try Bucca di Beppy's (sp?) and Max & Erma's across the street. We went down to the corner. Anything that isn't mainstream isn't packed!
But now it's early and I'm tired, and by early, I mean it's 10:30, but when you go to bed after 4, 10:30 (also Miss Quintessa's phone going off at 6 am) is early. Someone bring me Starbucks please (grande sumatra tan w/ two splendas)!!!
Questions, comments, concerns? Please feel free to E-mail me!

"the alaskan" is Greg Glover (long "o") from Sterling, Alaska a short distance from Kenaii (in case you MIGHT know where that is). He has a twin brother named Mike and his dad is full blooded Inuit indian (commonly confused with eskimo) while his mom is pure midwest gal. Very, very cool people with an awesome church.I knew him from summer trips to AK and went to IBC with him 96/97.
