Eric: Janna, Expired License, Church
My girlfriend Janna
As promised here is the information about my girlfriend. Her name is Janna, and she is 20 (almost exactly two years younger than I am). Her home church is on the other side of St. Louis, but we live about right minutes away from each other. She is going to school full time pursuing degree in occupational therapy while working part-time for a dentist’s office.
How we met
We met through mutual friends, and we started playing tennis after school with a mutual friend. The second week in she e-mailed and said she couldn’t play because her homework was piling up. I gave her a call one night to ask her how it all had worked out. Five hours later, at 2 a.m. we got off the phone. Over the next two months we talked a lot and became good friends. There was no pressure to figure out where “this” was going or how we felt. I asked her if I could take her out for her birthday (Nov. 14) and she said yes. We spent the evening at a nice restaurant and then at the symphony (she had mentioned during one of our long talks her desire to see the Symphony). Afterwards “us” finally came up and so we have been dating for over a month!
Why I like her
Janna is special to me because she is very understanding, trustworthy, compassionate, kind, caring, sweet, lovely, gorgeous, and an all around upstanding woman. We “get” each other and we know how to be serious together and also how to still have a fun time. I am so glad we met each other.
On a funny note, she has a brother who is 9 years older and is kind of well known around St. Louis because he went to Gateway and was a youth pastor (and because he is a nice guy that people like). So when I introduce Janna, everyone knows Jason, even if they had no idea his sister existed. Anyway, sometimes it almost feels a little bit like dating a celebrity.
Expired License
My Missouri Driver’s License officially expired on my birthday, December 4th. I had been reminded a few weeks before that it would be expiring on my birthday, but with finals and everything else it simply slipped my mind. So I have been breaking the law for the last few weeks. I am going today though for the renewal. The new ID requirements are stringent, so I have my passport, Voter ID card, and Social Security Card. Isn't it wrong to break the law while in law school?
Church
Sunday night was the choir’s Christmas presentation, and they did a great job! The accompanying drama (staring my buddy PJ’s parents) was also well done. Afterwards the church had a full dinner (free) that was excellent. Janna came with me and that was nice!
There are lots of errands to do today…I’ll be back later.
Questions, comments, concerns? Please feel free to E-mail me!

1 Comments:
I know Janna, and she is a sweetheart - I liked her before I knew her brother very well, so to me she is a "celebrity" in her own right.
Tell her "hi" from Liz Hines Fierge.
