Eric: the new week

Who am I?

My name is Eric from St. Louis, MO. I was the “month” blogger back in June. Back then I was working two part-time jobs and waiting for law school. I also contributed a little in August as part of the group blog that brought instant impressions and insights from the 2005 North American Youth Congress. Well I no longer have a job, but I did just finish my last final exam for my first semester of law school. It was physically taxing, and emotionally draining – but it is over!

Format

I try to stick to a format with an entry every day with three parts. I try to include something off-beat, something news related, and something serious or personal. The experience of blogging is one that I find enjoyable, and so I hope that you will enjoy reading it from time to time this next week.

Readers are the lifeblood

The only reason anyone writes, on 90&9 that includes the article writers and editors to the bloggers, is for the readers. I value the opinions, reflections and reactions that you have. They are useful. For example, in June I opined that I didn’t know how to resize the large digital pictures my camera produces into more manageable size files so they can be posted online, etc. Well an anonymous reader wrote about downloading an application from Microsoft and the result is I can now resize my large pictures into something I can post online. So I hope to post a picture everyday (although not today)!
