Ahhh, There's Nothing Like a . . .

. . . tax refund on a rainy day! I have been staring at my computer all day, enjoying rare view of six digits against the backdrop of my online banking screen. (That would be six digits and a decimal point, of course.) I'm savoring the moment while it lasts because tomorrow they will be gone. On the plus side, I will be doing away with almost all my remaining credit card debt, and that's a good feeling. Now if only I could do the same with all those tuition loans . . .

The Final Tally
Voting has been winding down, leaving us with the current score of

Just Call Him! 11 (6 online; 2 e-mails; 3 in person)
Don't Do It! 4 (3 online; 1 in person)

Well, thanks so much, you guys, for not letting me off the hook! Why do I get the feeling like this has become sort of like the A/P version of a reality show where you guys can't wait to see me humiliate myself? Ah well, I suppose it's my fault . . . I'll keep you posted!

Questions, comments, concerns? Please feel free to E-mail me!

Depending where that decimal place was, that could have been some refund! I'd like to get a refund with the decimal place after the last number!

RE: Shy guy. I say go for it but you make the first move and the rest is up to him.

CALL HIM!! Have fun! What's the harm? Be a friend . . .sounds like he's looking to me an individual - you happen to be of the female type - and maybe that's easier for him to talk with.
What if . . . he's the "one"? How fun is that?
What if . . .he's a new lifelong friend? How fun is that?
What if . . .he's just lonely and you're going to introduce him to a friend of yours in 5 years who is the woman of his dreams and in the meantime you've made a friend for a lifetime? How fun is that?

What if ... you're just in his path to minister grace to him and he to you until . . something else changes your paths?

What if . . .you decide to be shy, too and you never find out why God has put him in your path?

HAVE FUN!! For cryin' out loud! Give me his number . . .I'll call him for you!

just kidding, kiddo! Keep us posted, hey?

I think Kris has it all balanced out - I retract my "cocky" statement from before :)

Go ahead and call Wendy. I mean, haven't there already been other disasters in your neck o'the woods this year? What's one more?
