I thought about Gabe’s love for flying. The thing about flying is that even if the day is dreary and the sky is covered with clouds, you can soar above those clouds and be where the sun is always shining. This describes Gabe’s smile: No matter what the world might bring his way, the Lord gave him a joy that carried him above the clouds to soar where the Light is constant. Gabe’s smile is a reflection of that Light: The joy of the Lord.
