My Favorite Day of the Week.

Ok, first off, let me say that I LOVE Thursdays! Why? Well, since you asked, I am off ALL DAY on Thursdays. This allows me to not focus on school for an entire 24 hours! Heck yes! Instead I can focus on recording performance soundtracks or graphic design or some recent Photoshop work from earlier in the week. OR . . . my personal fav . . . I can finish my latest book en devour. And while I'm at it, let me take a moment to say that God is AMAZING! No explanation needed, He's just AMAZING. I think a lot of the time, we lose our grip on what exactly that word means. It's more than an adjective to grace. It's a word that embodies a "loss for words." lol How ironic is that? Want to delve deeper? ok, here's a few derivatives:

Amazing:

Astonishing, astounding, surprising, stunning, staggering, shocking, startling, stupefying, breath-taking, awesome, awe-inspiring, sensational, remarkable, spectacular, stupendous, phenomenal, extraordinary, incredible, unbelievable, mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, wonderous . . . etc.

What's even more ironic is that we even TRY to describe God at all. My personal favs are

1. Breath-taking
2. Awe-inspiring
3. Mind-blowing
4. Incredible
5. Sensational

Now for the heck of it, I'll let you in on the way my mind works. Or as I like to put it, my stream of consciousness during these "God realization moments."

1. Breath-taking -- This is simple enough. Whatever "is" breath-taking, takes your breath from you. Therefore, God is the breath of life, so if we go with this whole, "God's breath = spiritual side vs. natural breath = human nature / ability to understand" then when God "takes your breath away," He strips you of your human reasoning which we lean on far too much sometimes, and fills you with all things Holy and Pure.

2. Awe-inspiring -- Self explanatory.

3. Mind-blowing -- When you try to put too much air into a balloon, it pops. When you try to put to much into a trash bag, it rips. When you try to cram something "infinite" into something extremely "finite" as the human mind, then you have what is known as "mind-blowing."

4. Incredible -- To be incredible means to be "without - credit" or "without credentials" or "having nothing previous to base worth on" You're probably thinking, Huh? That sucks. God has no credit? Well, think about it. If your situation is hopeless, and you see NO way out by any means of human possibility. The fact that God is "incredible" should give you a great sense of hope. That means that there is NO situation that comes along that God CAN'T take care of. Because he doesn't need a precedent or proof that he can do it. He just does it. He's God for a reason you know? lol

5. Sensational -- I just like this word. It implies that God isn't tied to one way of touching people. There are literally Millions upon Millions of sensations out there. So God didn't limit himself to just 'crying' or just 'leaping and shouting.' He made it so that He could touch anyone, anytime, any way that HE wanted to. That just makes me smile that He thinks that much of me. And I'm also happy that He thinks that much of Himself. lol

Anyway, I've typed myself into a cramp, and I still have to analyze some Mozart for tomorrow's class. So, I will say goodnight, and . . . yes . . . you guessed it . . . I'm going to be cliche . . . God bless. rofl

Later.
Billiam
