Hello Monday!
This is proving to be a not so hot week, and it's only Monday! Here's the layout:
Unconquerable boy and I had a total misunderstanding last night. I apologized immensely, he said it was OK, yet he's not responding to my text tonight. Guess every thing's not OK. Surprise, Surprise! Welcome to my life! :-) I'll be seeing him this weekend; that post should be interesting.
I tried to work on the yearbook as much as possible today in between reviewing my students for their 9 weeks test. In all the mess piling up on my desk, I've somehow lost several important things. I'm stressing out because now that all the seniors have graduated, I have no yearbook staff. I still have elementary awards and such that I have to get pictures of and no staff to do it with.
So I drove home and had a little cry. I'm a girl; I'm entitled. Then I get home to find a confusing email which, until it was further verified, had me for a bit of a scare. So after crying some more, I headed to graduation! Several people had prepared me for this huge photo op that I had to score. They told me exactly where to stand so I could get the perfect picture of the graduates throwing their hats. I was in place and ready, and the camera wouldn't go off. So I have a picture of everyone standing there after their caps are already on the floor. I'm hoping at this point they'll just fire me, but someone I doubt I'd be that lucky!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday are final exams. Friday is the last teacher day when I have to have all my grades posted, all my paperwork turned in, and room cleaned by noon. And somewhere in all that I have to finish the yearbook. I guess I didn't even mention the fact that many needed pictures are on my camera that one of the senior graduates has in her car!
**Today's Southern Term**
Cotton Pickin' [kah ton pikin]. -- adverb. slang term with a negative connotation. most often used in place of cuss words.
This cotton pickin' yearbook is about to drive me cotton pickin' crazy, y'all!

The good thing about life is that when you think it can't get worse it does. However ,on the flip side of that things can get better.Where do you think the idea of the roller coaster came from? LIFE! Remember the good time ,forget the bad, things always have a way of working out, give it your best and have no regrets.Remember God will always love and understand you, people don't,but God does. Have a great week. Luv u.
Welcome to the world of education - never enough time to get everything done that is asked of you! How nice it would be if the world valued the work we do and provided enough aides to take care of all those "extra" duties that do not directly pertain to educating the student. How much more students would learn with a teacher less stressed and with more time to plan and to interact with the students more!
Hurray for the end of school! I am looking forward to summer! I got the transfer I asked for, so I am looking forward to the next school year too! Kim, are you going to the Singles Conference in Memphis?
Thanks dad..love you too!
Anonymous -- Don't I agree. I feel like I spend so much time trying to figure out what I'm doing, that I don't get anything done!
