A Month in the Life

SlamPlanet was great! It was awesome to see hundreds of kids, majority of them "un-churched", praising God in their own way. It was loud and dark, but fun and spiritual. I think our youth enjoyed it and were excited to see the possibilities that lay before us.

Today was the last day of students!! I'm ready for the summer. Tomorrow is a half day for teachers to finish cleaning up, posting grades etc. Then as soon as that's over, I'm headed to Hot Springs, AR for a few days! I'm so glad to be getting away for a little while, and relaxing. I plan on doing a little reading while I'm gone. First on my list is Don Miller's Searching For God Knows What.

In the meantime, don't fret. I will have internet access, so this blog will still be coming to you live every weekday, and maybe even the weekend! I promise any new info on unconquerable boy, post-teacher depression, insights from Don Miller, and more Southern Terms in our last week together!

Air Up [air up]. -- verb. To inflate or pressurize.
I gotta air up my tires before I leave out tomorrow. I sure don't want to be stranded with a flat!
