Random Stuff
School News
The yearbook is coming along. Two of my wonderful senior graduates came back to help finish up. We're making head way; only about 20 pages left and most of those are ad pages I have to put together!
I had a lot of free time today, so I got all my tests graded and posted except for one class that will take their test tomorrow. Overall the kids have behaved well. I did see one of my students walking down the hall. He said, "Guess what Ms. Rigney! I've gotten 5 referrals today!" I replied, "Congratulations!" He says back, with all sincerity, "Thanks!" I laughed all the way to the office!
Church Stuff
We're taking the young people to Bro. Foster's church in Monroe, LA tonight. They have a youth service called SlamPlanet, and so we wanted the kids to see a successful youth ministry in action. From what I understand, SlamPlanet has been operating for about 7 years. We just started having youth services about 8 months ago called REMIX, so it will be good encouragement for the kids and for us youth leaders to see how we can grow!
Celebrity Stuff
My friend sent me this link today about Paris Hilton. It's amazing how people suddenly turn to God in their hour of need!
I'm a huge American Idol fan, and I'm excited about who will win tonight! I like both contestants so I really don't care who comes out on top. Jordan can SANG! I was amazed last night at her talent, but my boy Blake is a true performer. I like his style and think there is definitely room for him in the music industry. We'll see what America decided tonight!

Glad to hear that you are wrapping things up at school and that you had a pretty good day.
I bet it was interesting to see what another youth group has done to inspire young people to God. Hopefully you will see things that they did to help you with your own group.
As for celebrities, they just think that they are to good to ever need anyone, but God is still in control and He let's them see that they can
not live in this life without Him. American Idol has two good people in the run this time, and which ever one wins, the other one will still be too good not to get picked up by the media and get their own CD. Keep writing girl.
