A Month in the Life

I am not a musician, or an expert on music. But the music this year has been very good. And the quality of the music itself (separate from the singing) has been truly first rate. The band pit has 4 guitarists (bass, electric, acoustic and the one Carlos Santana uses), drums, organ, hand percussion, and two keyboards. But I think I figured out why the sound is so innovative this year. While almost all pentecostal music has always been piano/keyboard/organ driven, this music is guitar driven. In fact, I think the keyboards are being used for strings and harmony and not to carry the music.
