What's on YOUR wish list?
If you are an electronics junkie - you may have asked for an Apple Ipod Nano 3rd generation, a Canon Digital Rebel XTi 10Mpixel SLR. a Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder, a Sling Media SOLO, or an R2 D2 Interactive Droid. (had to throw the last one in - for my geeky peeps)
and...who DOESN'T WANT an iphone?!
What's on YOUR wish list?
Through the hustle and bustle of this holiday season, why don't you take a minute to ponder the question, "What would an angel want for Christmas?"
I know it sounds a little crazy, but Dan and I discussed this recently, so it's still fresh in my thoughts and I felt like sharing it with you.
I Peter 1:8-12 - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, Receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls. Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] unto you. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
The angels want to understand the salvation of mankind - angels cannot repent - that's just not an option for them.
While you are making your wish list, remember, you have the most important gift of all - a second chance.
