A Month in the Life

I hope you are well today. So I am trying to recover from this Christmas party that I helped co-host in downtown Nashville last night. I sing in this small singing group. The members are spread across West Tennessee. Well we had our Christmas party in Nashville this year at Phillip Hampton’s condo. Did I mention his pad is posh? It’s safe to say it’s by far the nicest place you might venture this holiday season.

Can I just say that parties seem fun but the more fun it is, the HARDER the work? Well I said it anyway. Good grief. And you know what else is crazy? I am setting everything up with the help from my mom (thanks mom) and other volunteers (thanks Arlen and Sis. Helen Becton) and people started getting there. I mean seriously. Since WHEN did ‘costals (pentecostals for the “new” readers) start arriving places on time, and early for that matter? Ha I realize that’s a gross generalization, but seriously. So I was running around trying to get everything put together.
