Funny Faces and Picking Noses
Posting that funny face engagement picture reminded me of a session I did for an old coworker. Jill and her boyfriend Jason are too funny together and we pretty much made a day of laughing the entire time of their mini photo shoot. They also have The Mini Monster - their super hyper crazy dog.
I love taking more natural photos and try to catch embraces and funny looks at each other coz I think it better captures the personality of couples. I've gotten a bunch of different looks and embraces, but I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when at one point during the photo shoot, Jason decided to try and pick Jill's nose. :

You can't see it in this picture, but she was screaming "NO!" and he was laughing. This picture now hangs up at her house as a token of the attempted booger picking experience. Although she prevented it, Jason soon tried to pick someone else's nose. Any BR area people know who this is? I'm not saying that because it's a quiz and I really know. I don't. Seriously, who is this statue of?

And, since I might not post Monday (darn school and its never ending projects), I'll include Jason's favorite shot of the day:

Although I told them to lean on this sculpture, I love how the sun was right behind the top of the Capitol building. I chose the sculpture and the architecture of the building as a backdrop because these two are definitely a modern couple and it accurately portrayed their interests. The lighting was lagniappe - vocabulary lesson for all those not from the swamp land: lagniappe means a little something extra.
And, since I mentioned her earlier, making her grand debut on this blog - The Mini Monster:
