You know you're in Tennessee when ...

I flew in to East Tennessee last night to visit with my family for a week. My parents picked me up and promptly took me straight home (although they did offer to grab a bite to eat) because at 8:30 p.m., the Lady Vols were taking on Stanford for the NCAA women's national championship. And if you're anything in East Tennessee, you're a Vols fan. And if you're anybody in East Tennessee, you're a Lady Vols fan (even men!)

Thankfully, the Lady Vols secured a win, making this their 8th national championship and making my parents and their friends very, very happy. I had no idea I was flying in on a night of such epic proportions. I was glad I was here to experience it.

My mother bought my baby, Madilyn, a Tennessee Vols cheerleading outfit, matching socks, bow and pacifier clip ... so we dressed her in it tonight to go to church to further celebrate the win.

And you know you're in Tennessee when ... the pastor asks you to stand up and show everyone in the congregation your baby's Big Orange outfit during church ...
