New Day ... New Way!

I returned home from church, which was amazing, and I am really excited about some great new things God is doing in my life. So I decided to share it with you all. Lately, I have really been wanting to step up my "witnessing game" and this weekend has inspired me even more. The thing is though, I feel like the people I invite never come to church. Sometimes I think I am doing a disservice to those I invite. I feel like I have some kind of virus that even if they wanted to go to church, by me inviting them I have infected with some disease which repels them from the idea of it. OK I realize that is probably an exaggeration, but I am sure that I am not the only one that feels this way. It gets so hard sometimes that I just want to give up, why invite people if they're never going to come.

Well, I really feel like God has spoken to me and has given me a new kind of confidence. He said Allison, I spoke to multitudes, I healed tons of people, at one time I fed 5,000 men, that doesn't even include all of the women and children who were there, yet when I left and told those to stay in Jerusalem for my spirit to come there were only 120 in the room. Out of the thousands of the people who followed me, only 120 came to my first Holy Ghost revival.

I began to think about that and realized that God knew how many people would be in the upper room, he knew how many people would rebuke him at Calvary, yet it didn't prevent him going out and sharing His Word. You know God gave humans an incredible gift, the gift of free will, the gift to make a choice. All we can do is invite them, give them the chance, God's job is to change them, but they have to make the choice to come and that is one thing we can't control. God has given us one job, to share the gospel in any way we can. If God is not discouraged when not everyone He invited comes to Him, why should I be? So tomorrow starts a new day, with my new life, and I can't wait to see what is going to happen!
