The Big News, a Great Book and Goodbye
So for the past couple of weeks I've had a secret. Its not that great of a secret, it's actually not a good secret at all. It will, however most likely alter my life and will lead me in a new direction. The Music store where I work which is a chain of 10 music stores across Atlantic Canada, was sold. It was sold to a bigger chain of music stores that go across Canada. The staff found out about a week and a half ago and we have kinda been in limbo ever since, I guess due to the fear of the unknown, while they will most likely keep some of us around some of us are not certain about our futures. We were told to keep this under our hats and then we woke up to reports all over the local media that the owner (now past owner) had announced the final deal with the new owner. not a fun place to be today. Not sure where this brings me and I guess I'd have to be lying if I told you I wasn't scared, however I guess the life of a Christian is all about trusting God and believing that he has your steps already ordered. It is easy to quote things like "He'll never put more on you that you can bear" but from my own experience when I have to cling to such scriptures it scares me to death.
I bought a new book today! I love new books. I love to read. I bought Soul Cravings by Edwin McManus. It came highly recommended by a few different people and so far it is great. I'm only in the fist little bit but I love it and its talked to me a little bit already, pick it up and make sure you buy it through the amazon link at 90&9.
This month has been fun. It was great letting you in on some happenings of my life! Tomorrow is a new day, a new month, and will give us a new Blogger! Hopefully it will give you many new blessings also! Talk to you soon,

It's a new Week!
Wow it sure is a new week...I can't believe that this month is already almost over...its been the busiest month of my life. So much was going on this month! I spent some time thinking today about some goals and about some things that I want to see happen in my life...I don't think about things like that nearly enough. It's always hard to evaluate where you are and where you want to go, and trying to plan out the steps that are involved to make it happen. I figured some things out and I'm excited about some of the things that fixing to happen.
I'm going to teach myself to play the guitar! I've said it before but this time I really am going to follow through with it...I get frustrated cause I think I should be able to pick it up and just play...but this time I've determined that I'm not going to quit, that I'm going to really learn and not give up.
Ok here in the great white north its late and I've got a long day ahead of me...so I'll talk to you soon,
