A Month in the Life

Well, today is the day that my twin sister Emily is moving to Mississippi. Although I realize that this is a good thing, taking that her husband is currently living there, it does not help in easing the depression. I am pretty sure that my sadness is enhanced by the fact that she is my twin. If you're not a twin then I don't think you can really know what it is like to be with an individual from before day one (we were wombmates). We were extremely close growing up, we shared friends, classes, money, cell phones, clothes, and the list goes on and on. In fact until we were 18, when she went off to college, we had only spent 5 consecutive days apart (I know that's kind of pathetic). Needless to say her being a thousand miles from me is going to be an adjustment.... Anyways I know I will miss her very much, and I am sure that I have many trips down south a head of me!

This weekend we have been on baby shower overload! My sister Emily is expecting in August and Saturday we threw her a baby shower. The event was bitter-sweet due to the fact that Emily will be moving to Mississippi on Thursday... but enough of the sad talk, here are some pictures from the day...
