Ann Ahrens has been a member of the music faculty at Gateway College of Evangelism since 1995. In addition she teaches piano at Mo. Baptist Univ and at home. Other interests include American history, traveling, digging in the yard, and spoiling her cat, Mama.
RJ Aycock is on staff at North Point Worship Center, “The Point”, in Escondido, CA. He has been happily married for two years to beautiful Valerie. They both have a knack for finding the best dessert spots wherever they go.
Courtney Ballestero has led worship for nearly 10 years at New Destiny Worship Center in Clearwater, FL. She has been a contributing singer / songwriter for worship series for children and has led worship for conferences across the country. Currently, she is at work on a solo project.
Shannon Dunlap received exceptional piano instruction from fellow blogger Ann Ahrens, but still prefers to listen to someone other than herself play in church services. She loves music of almost all kinds but her heart belongs to the Sinatra era of yesteryear. She puts all her past musicianship and theory lessons to good use by writing reviews for a local paper on concerts and musicals.
Everett plays piano, leads worship and directs the orchestra at St. Paul Apostolic Tabernacle in Minnesota. By day he "makes computers go" for a small investment firm in downtown Minneapolis. When not busy watching his boy grow up he enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, traveling, chess, bridge, and any number of obscure card games such as Klaberjass or Schafskopf.
Laura Payne is the Music and Creative Arts pastor at Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church, under Pastor Tim Zuniga, and is the founder of Heart of Worship Ministries (howministries.com) She served as the Dean of Music for Christian Life College in Stockton, CA from 1996 until 2005. Laura is “Mom” to three boys and is passionate about raising her kids, empowering worshippers, traveling and eating great ethnic food!
