Super Bowl Predictions

Posted by: Bradley McDonald

It doesn't seem like many people are giving Seattle a chance in this years' Super Bowl, even though they were the top seed coming out of the conference. Pittsburgh's win over the a-bit-premature-greatest-team-of-all-time Indianapolis Colts made them the favorite. I haven't seen too many "experts" picking the Seahawks.

I'm going to go against the tide and call for a Seattle upset! My prediction: Seattle 24 - Pittsburgh 20.

If you think I'm crazy or if you just want to prove your sports knowledge far exceeds mine, enter your prediction in the comments section for all the world to see! The person with the prediction closest to the final score wins the grand prize of having their name announced in the blog (along with bragging rights)! I may even be able to convince the 90&9 chiefs to throw in a free CD. So, let the games begin!

(Speaking of games, March Madness is right around the corner and we'll definitely have the 2nd annual 90&9 Tournament Bracket, so start researching now!)

Bradley, come on man, it's the Steelers' year. Steelers +2 in turnovers in the Big Bowl.
Steelers 30 -- 'Hawks 17.

Seattle - 21; Pittsburgh 20

This has been based on the same kind of research that I did for the March Madness last year (where, I might add, I did better than any other 90&9 staffer!)...I had rather visit Seattle than Pittsburgh...

Pittsburgh - 24; Seattle - 17

I think it will be a low scoring, good defense affair, so let's make it 13-10 Pittsburgh. (& I want to pick the CD I get! :)

Now, why would you not trust Bradley to pick out your CD??? He did a great job with the Astros hat and shirt....

I'm with Brad on this one...there's no reason for the Seahawks to be the underdogs. But the Steelers are coming to play.

Seahawks 31, Steelers 30

I'm partial to Seattle because I like QB Matt Hasselbeck's hairstyle. :)

I'm going to pick Seahawks because I like their uniforms better. Plus I don't understand what a "steeler" is. So Seahawks it is. 34-28

I'm going to go Steelers because one of them is a Detroit boy, and his parents had the entire team over for dinner last night. That's gotta be lucky!!

Seattle 35-12. Shawn Alexander goes crazy and gets 200+ yds rushing. Big Ben throws 3 INTs.

Big Ben puts his team up early, then they ride the Bus to an easy win--not that I care. Final score: Steelers 24-14

Using my vast knowledge, I am going to say Steelers 20, Seahawks 17. Wish we could watch it!
