9 Books
I'm a sucker for memes, especially if they're about books. No one tagged me for this, but I wanted to answer it anyway.
1) One book that changed your life: Boundaries: When to Say Yes, When to say No, To Take Control of Your Life by Dr. Henry Cloud & Dr. John Townsend
2) One book that you'd read more than once: Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen (I have read this more than once)
3) One book you'd want on a deserted island: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare –it’s got everything, tragedy, mystery, romance, comedy—whatever you are in the mood for
4) One book that made you laugh: Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
5) One book that made you cry: Night by Elie Wiesel
6) One book you wish you'd written: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
7) One book you wish had never been written: The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. He shouldn’t have made so much money on such a ridiculous book.
8) One book you're currently reading: Killing Floor by Lee Child. An exciting mystery that is solved (I’m guessing) by the suspect in the case.
9) One book you've been meaning to read: 12 “Christian” Beliefs That Can Drive You Crazy: Relief from False Assumptions by Cloud and Townsend

Ok, I love talking about books, so here we go!
One book that changed your life: Jane Eyre (I wouldn't necessarily say it changed my life, but it opened my up to real literature. It was my first "classic" and it gave me a taste of what literary genius is really like)
One book that you'd read more than once: Pride and Prejudice (I love Jane Austen, and I would like to find an early edition of this book)
One book you'd want on a deserted island: The Complete Works of Jane Austen ( I love her!)
One book that made you laugh: The Twelfth Night (I know it's not actually a book, it's a play, but I couldn't think of any good books that really made me laugh, and this play was utterly hilarious)
One book that made you cry: "The Dive from Clausen's Pier" By Anne Packer, "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Seabold, and P.S. I Love You by Barbara P. Conklin. (I don't get overly emotional when I read books, so it'd have to be INCREDIBLY sad to make me cry. Most of these are books that I'd read when I was younger. The Dive from Clausen's Pier is about a girl who's fiance is paralyzed by divings off of a pier, and how she runs from the heartache it causes after. The Lovely Bones is about the rape and murder of a little girl, and how she takes care of her family and loved ones after her death. And, finally, PS, I love you (one that I read in like Junior high) is about a girl and her first love, and how she deals with the fact that he is dying of cancer. It's a beautiful story, but increadily heartbreaking.)
One book you wish you'd written: Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling (she's now filthy rich)
One book you wish had never been written: The Da Vinci Code (I enjoyed it for the fictional literary part of it, but it has caused so much chaos and doubt, mostly due to the fact that he tried to pass it off as truth, that there's no telling the lasting affects it's had.)
One book your currently reading: The Agony and the Ecstacy by Irving Stone (I LOVE it)
One book you've been meaning to read: Dante's Divine Comedy (I have it, just haven't had the chance to sit down and read it. I read the first few pages of Inferno and really liked it, just can't get any time to really read it.
